Tuesday, May 7

Carl will be at the Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers Market from 2 - 6pm. Thanks, Carl!

Saturday, May 4

I'll be at Detroit's Eastern Market again from about 8am to about noon. I have to leave early for another errand.

Carl will be at the Ypsilanti Depot Town Farmers Market from about 8am to 1pm. He'll have our petitions along with the Ban Fracking and Move to Amend petitions.

Thursday, April 25

At 5pm, Tom Barrow will be kicking off his campaign for Mayor of Detroit. His campaign has contacted us and invited us to attend the kickoff and gather support from Mr. Barrow's supporters. Voters FUBR thanks the Barrow campaign for the opportunity and for their foresight in helping out on an issue that will benefit all Detroiters. The event will be at the St. Maron Banquet Center at 11466 Kercheval, Detroit, at the corner of St. Jean right across the street from the Chrysler Jefferson plant.

Tuesday, April 23

I'll be at the Oakland County Water Resources Town Hall and Ferndale City Hall, 300 E. Nine Mile Rd, at about 5pm. The meeting is supposed to start at 6:00 pm. I'll definitely be outside collecting signatures and recruiting more volunteers, and they may even let me inside.

The Wolf Rally at the State Capitol went great. Lots of signatures and I ran out of my modest batch of petition packets to hand out to other (new!) circulators. If you want to circulate some yourself, use the Contact/Volunteer link to let me know.

Monday, April 22

I'll be at the Ann Arbor Dems Spring Mixer at The Black Pearl, 302 S. Main, Ann Arbor from 5:30 - 9:30pm.
Hopefully some members of that group will want petitions of their own to circulate, so I'll have extra available.

Saturday, April 20th

Saturday, April 20th I'll be at Eastern Market near downtown Detroit with petitions to sign.

If anyone wants to circulate some themselves, I'll bring a few extra packets.

Kick-Off of Petition Drive

On April 18th we start collecting signatures on our petitions. We have six months to get 323,000 of them. The state only has two requirements on timing: that we turn them in before July 2014 and that all signatures be within six months of the turn-in date. It is our choice on when we do our six-month collection period. Good weather always helps, so ours is April 18th to October 15th, 2013.
